A great venue to catch a baseball game and a tasty buffet with drinks. We expect to enjoy the air-conditioned Club experience behind the plate again this summer. Please plan to join us, even if you aren't a fan of baseball!
We did this two summers ago. It was lightly attended but a relaxing and casual way to get to know each other better. No host event. They often have food trucks. It is a nice way to close out the day. Your guests (21+) are welcome.
Our original date was June 10, but we had to reschedule for June 11 .
"Park Day" is an annual opportunity for volunteers to participate in maintaining historic sites across the country. Park Day is this Saturday, April 26th. Only two sites in North Carolina are participating; for those who added this event to your calendar, here are the details:
1. Bentonville Battlefield State Historic Site, 5466 Harper House Road in Four Oaks. Volunteers will meet at the Visitors Center at 9:30 AM and will be doing mostly trail maintenance. For additional information, call 910-594-0789.
2. Stonewall Manor, 1331Stone Wall Lane, Rocky Mount. Volunteers will meet at 9 AM on the front porch of this historic antebellum plantation house and will be helping with both interior and exterior maintenance. For additional information, call 252-314-7407.
Both activities will conclude at 1 PM. If you do participate in one of these activities, we would love to have a picture or two of Chapter members "at work". If feasible, we could put carpools together! Please call me at 919-633-8050.

A solemn opportunity to honor the fallen.
We urge you to use this opportunity to volunteer a few hours of your time on Saturday, December 14th, to join us in placing wreaths at the gravesites of our military veterans.
See the website shown for more information about how to volunteer. Drill down into the map to find the cemeteries in your area. We urge you to use the website sign up to support this effort to honor our veterans. In his latest President's Message, COL Segal asked that you document your experience with photos and use the opportunity to get to know other MOAA-affiliated vets who may be in attendance. Please send photos to COL Segal at his email: herbsegal1941@gmail.com, and cc the website at: moaa.trianglechapter@gmail.com.
You can also help WAA by sponsoring wreaths for $17 each. Information on their website.
