Adam Svolto, former Captain, USAF, USAFA grad, and fellow chapter member, has agreed to speak at our October 27th dinner meeting. His biography follows.

Bio
Adam Svolto serves as Director of Veteran Outreach with the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, a Washington DC-based non-profit organization focused on international affairs. Adam is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served on active duty from 1996 to 2004 as a C-130 navigator. While stationed at Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina and Yokota Air Base, Japan, he attained instructor and evaluator qualifications in the C-130 and deployed in support of combat operations in the Balkans, Persian Gulf, and the Global War on Terror.
Prior to joining USGLC, Adam served as Director of Policy and Engagement with the North Carolina Justice Center, advocating at the state and local levels to remove barriers to economic mobility. During his tenure, Adam built strategic alliances with key partners including veteran-serving organizations to advance legislation. He also lobbied extensively in support of consumer protections, tenants’ rights, and housing affordability. Earlier, Adam worked for the North Carolina Pediatric Society where he led a statewide initiative to improve health care for children and youth in the foster system. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a Master of Public Administration from North Carolina State University.
